Chief Justice of India N.V. Ramana on Friday said as a judge, he always wanted his name to be etched on the hearts of the people through his conduct and behaviour, and also as one who recognised, preliminarily, the moral power of a judge.
Dave told, "You have been a citizens' judge. And, I speak on behalf of citizens of this country...you upheld the rights; you upheld the Constitution...your lordship excelled our expectations...you did what really is expected to be done by this institution.
Upadhyaya submitted that notice was issued more than a year ago, in March last year, but there is no progress on the case so far.
