Lawyers at the Mahila Court in Chennai thrashed some of the 18 men accused of raping an 11-year-old hearing-impaired girl for 7 months.
The police have arrested 18 people so far in connection with the case and it is believed that more men were involved in the crime.
The girl narrated her ordeal to her elder sister, who later brought it to the notice of their parents after which the mother approached the police.
