The NAB Lahore on Friday also initiated another probe against Nawaz, Shahbaz and Maryam for acquiring thousands of kanals in violation of rules making it part of their Jati Umra Raiwind Lahore residence.
The NAB has accused three suspects of committing money laundering under the garb of sale/purchase of the sugar mills' shares,
Maryam said in a petition, "I returned to Pakistan with my father (former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif) despite being sentenced in the Al-Azizia reference".
"It's one of the key investigations to establish the cause of severe Thrombocytopenia," Khan added.
On Saturday, the Lahore High Court allowed former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to travel abroad for four weeks for medical treatment.
However, PM Khan has regretted that the Sharif family was "playing politics" on the former premier's health .
