The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) has arrested Dr Amit Bansal, son of Subhash Bansal, a resident of Chandigarh, for illegal activities at his 22 de-addiction centers being run/owned by him in different parts of the state.

Online students are more likely to drop out. The hardest hit are the unwilling few and those who enter the online class with low grades in their previous examinations. The weaker sections of students are the worst sufferers of the online format. Capt to seek cancellation of final term university, college exams

The CM said he will seek revocation of the July 6 orders of the Union home ministry on compulsory conduct of final terms exams in the universities and colleges by September, and withdrawal of the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines accordingly.
