The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has introduced key relaxations for Customs Cargo Service Providers (CCSPs).This is in line with the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan's goals of improving logistics infrastructure, efficiency, and promoting sustainable development.
Surjit Bhujabal, Member (Customs), Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), said the empowerment of women entrepreneurs for inclusive development is important.
In a written reply, the MoS said these involved 9,190 cases in the FY 2023-24.
The CBIC has advised the public to take certain measures to safeguard themselves from becoming a victim of such scams.
Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has started to electronically disburse duty drawback amounts directly to the bank accounts of exporters in order to facilitate trade, the Finance Ministry said on Wednesday.
For facilitation of exporters, all communication should be done over email, wherever the email id of the applicant is available.

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has clarified that such consultations with assessee, prior to issuance of show-cause notice (SCN) in case of demands of duty is above Rs 50 lakh (except for preventive/offence related SCNs), is mandatory and shall be done by the SCN-issuing authority.
