Of these, Gujarat reported 36 cases, Karnataka 34, Goa 14, Maharashtra nine, Kerala six, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu four each, and Telangana two.
With the addition of one more death due to the COVID-19, the total number of fatalities due to the coronavirus now stands at 5,30,532 in the country.
Meanwhile, three districts- Rayagada, Dhenkanal and Malkangiri – turned Covid-free on Thursday with no active cases.
The COVID-19 tally rose to 13,36,195, a bulletin issued by the department said, adding that Sundargarh district with 11 cases topped the daily Covid tally.
As per the data shared by the ministry, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.45% with 18,143 patients having recovered in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 4,32,10,522.
One patient each died of Corona in Ajmer and Bikaner today taking the death toll due to the pandemic to 9,576 since March 2020 in the state.
As per the data shared by the ministry, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.47% with 17,790 patients having recovered in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 4,30,81,441.
The latest rise in infection is the biggest spike in the last six months and it pushed the tally to 12,97,175 while 100 in the 0-18 year age group are among the new infectees, the health department said.
As per the data shared by the ministry, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.50% with 14,553 patients having recovered in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 4,29,68,533.
