Of these, Gujarat reported 36 cases, Karnataka 34, Goa 14, Maharashtra nine, Kerala six, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu four each, and Telangana two.
With the addition of one more death due to the COVID-19, the total number of fatalities due to the coronavirus now stands at 5,30,532 in the country.
Meanwhile, three districts- Rayagada, Dhenkanal and Malkangiri – turned Covid-free on Thursday with no active cases.
The COVID-19 tally rose to 13,36,195, a bulletin issued by the department said, adding that Sundargarh district with 11 cases topped the daily Covid tally.
While the weekly positivity rate in the country currently stands at 4.64 percent, the daily positivity rate shoots to 6.14 percent, as per the data.

As per the data shared by the ministry, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.50% with 19,928 patients having recovered in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 4,34,65.552.
