Steady decline in number of COVID deaths; daily fatalities below 100

Since 1st October 2020, the nation has seen an unabated decline in Case Fatality Rate.

COVID-19: Record highest single-day recoveries registered, reach 70.38%

In the first week of July, the daily average recovered cases were at 15,000 which jumped to more than 50,000 in the first week of August.

Centre directs the States to focus all efforts on reducing Covid-19 mortality

Today’s meeting focused on 13 districts concentrated in eight States/UT.

On 10 June, for the first time, the total number of recovered patients exceeded the active cases with a difference of 1,573 which has increased to 5,77,899 as on Sunday.
