Former Argentina international forward Carlos Tevez has revealed that he plans to retire at the end of 2019, bringing an end to a professional career that has spanned almost two decades.
The 33-year-old struggled for form and fitness during a disastrous stint in China, where he was among the best-paid players in the world on a reported weekly salary of €730,000.
"I have a few years of football left," Tevez told reporters. "Being in a World Cup for a player of my age would be something very nice."
