Parents of child cancer survivors talk of their success story

On the occasion of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, CanKids KidsCan, The National Society for Change for Childhood Cancer in India organized a survivor meet today in collaboration with the hematology department of NRS Medical College and Hospital.

"In Afghanistan, annually, around 40,000 people are infected by cancer. Around 16,000-20,000 people are losing their lives to the disease annually," said Mohammad Hussien Ghias, Deputy Minister of Public Health, told reporters here.
