Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday tabled the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report on the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) in the legislative assembly.
The meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu gave its approval to table the report 2023-24 of Comptroller and Auditor General of India in the budget session.
Rai stated that the AAP government took significant steps to provide quality healthcare to Delhiites, introducing Mohalla Clinics for the first time in the country.
He directed that the Assembly Secretariat to immediately forward the report to the Health Department which would submit its Action Taken Note (ATN) within a month’s time.
In the latest addition to the ongoing war of words over the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) audit report on healthcare; AAP leader Gopal Rai claimed on Monday that the report validates that the healthcare infrastructure of Delhi under AAP’s tenure in government is best in the country.

The audit report has also highlighted the shortage of specialists, including doctors, apart from a crunch of essential medicines, equipment, and consumables in the hospitals.
The speaker arrived at the conclusion after listening to the view of the members who expressed their concerns on the issue.
The speaker also said that CAG's functioning has been called the basic structure of the Constitution by the Supreme Court.
