A recently constructed four-storey building collapsed on Monday evening in Kaushik Enclave, Burari, North Delhi, according to police. So far, 10 individuals have been rescued from the debris.
Vinai Kumar Saxena directed concerned officials to take immediate steps to ensure sanitation and cleanliness in the area.
The incident took place in the Burari Police Station area on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday. Both the victims are under treatment at the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital (LNJP).
The police have identified the accused and multiple teams have been formed to arrest them.
