A two-storey building on Thursday collapsed in Kabir Nagar, Welcome killing two and critically injuring one person, an official said.
A day has passed but there are concerns about two more people still being trapped under the concrete in Garden Reach.
Nine other injured are also undergoing treatment at a nursing home close to the accident site.
Since the banks in the building were closed today, there was not much activity, leading to less rush of people in the building.
The first lawsuit, seeking $5 million in damages for the victims of the condo collapse, was filed late on Thursday. The cause of the oceanfront condo's collapse is unknown at this early stage.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has rescued 11 people from the site of the accident including one child.
The State Disaster Response Force and the NDRF teams are present at the site and the rescue and relief operation is underway.
Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh expressed his anguish over the building collapse.
Out of the four who are reported to have died till now, three are students and one teacher.
