Referring to the celebration of Dr. B R Ambedkar’s birth anniversary by rival parties, the BSP leader called it a pseudo love for vote bank politics.
Mayawati stated, "The mistakes of Akash's father-in-law, Ashok Siddharth, are unforgivable."
"Going forward, I will ensure that I do not consult any relatives or advisors while making political decisions," he added.
A day after the Waqf Amendment Bill was passed by Parliament, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati broke her silence on it through a couple of social media posts.

Blaming Akhilesh Yadav for the breakup of the alliance, the BSP chief said, “I had publicly said that the SP chief had stopped answering my phone (calls), regarding which he has now given a clarification after so many years."
