Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has launched a sharp attack on the Samajwadi Party (SP), accusing it of exploiting Dalits for political gains.
Referring to the celebration of Dr. B R Ambedkar’s birth anniversary by rival parties, the BSP leader called it a pseudo love for vote bank politics.
Mayawati stated, "The mistakes of Akash's father-in-law, Ashok Siddharth, are unforgivable."
"Going forward, I will ensure that I do not consult any relatives or advisors while making political decisions," he added.
A day after the Waqf Amendment Bill was passed by Parliament, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati broke her silence on it through a couple of social media posts.
Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has questioned the BJP- led Uttar Pradesh government to explain the reason behind excluding the name of Suraj Pal Singh alias Bhole Baba in the chargesheet filed in conection with Hathras stampede incident in which 131 people were killed.

Describing Arvind Kejriwal's resignation as electoral ploy, Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati on Tuesday slammed Aam Aadmi Party( AAP) for changing Delhi Chief Minister after such a long delay as people suffered due to Kejriwal's long stay in jail.
Similarly, BSP supremo Mayawati and Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav also wished PM on his brithday through on X.
Blaming Akhilesh Yadav for the breakup of the alliance, the BSP chief said, “I had publicly said that the SP chief had stopped answering my phone (calls), regarding which he has now given a clarification after so many years."
