A ferry capsized off the coast of Mumbai on Wednesday evening, leaving two persons dead. Around 77 people were rescued, and search operations are ongoing for five others who remain missing, officials said.

BMC’s safaigadis engaged in different wards did the awareness on Swachh Survekshan 2022 and Swachhata Pakhawada along with usual collection segregated waste , E waste and DHW. Recently BMC has sold six metric tons of E waste to the selected recycler certified by the State Pollution Control Board.
The BMC chatbot will provide at least 80 important services like water and electricity bill payments, house rent payment, licences renewal
During one year the counter has sold 40 metric tons of this organic compost. This is a stepping stone to enrich green Bhubaneswar and promote city sanitation to the desirable extent. The initiative taken a year back has grown up and crossed a healthy milestone.
BMC had earlier announced that all the travellers deboarding at the BPIA, except those in transit, have to undergo RT-PCR test for Covid-19 at the testing facility at the airport.
