Quick commerce platform Blinkit on Thursday announced the launch of its ambulance in 10 minutes service. The company called the move as a beginning of its efforts to enhance emergency medical access.
Blinkit’s rival Zepto saw its expenses surge a whopping 71.6 per cent to Rs 5,747 crore in the last financial year (FY24), as the company clocked Rs 1,248.6 crore in losses.
In 2022, Zomato had acquired Blinkit for $568 million but since then, on the back of improved performance, the latter’s implied valuation has grown to a staggering $13 billion, according to analysts at Goldman Sachs.
The company will be launching PlayStation 5 on its platform on April 5.
Zomato-owned quick delivery platform Blinkit saw its losses increase 8.2 per cent to reach Rs 1,078.9 crore in FY23 from Rs 996.7 crore in FY22, the media reported on Thursday.
