Addressing a press conference here while launching BJP's Sankalp Patra Part - I for Delhi Assembly polls, Nadda said, "The points I am going to make today are going to lay the foundation of a developed Delhi. Today we will discuss those points on how to take forward a developed Delhi."
Maharashtra's Minister of State for Home Affairs Yogesh Kadam accused the Opposition of trying to politice the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan by attacking the BJP-led Mahayuti government for the incident.
The Olympian said the BJP AAP are copy-pasting the guarantees of the Congress-ruled states in Karnataka, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, and Jharkhand.
In a scathing attack on the BJP over its poll manifesto released by party president JP Nadda for Delhi elections, addressing a press conference, Kejriwal said the saffron party repeatedly said that the AAP chief gives away freebies, but now their party president himself announced that they too will provide such free services and handouts to the people.
"Post Karnataka polls, the BJP is not doing well in Telangana as before and hence there is doubt how far this will impact the polls. Moreover, many are disappointed with the announcement of a committee instead of straight way commitment to the sub-catagorisation of SCs,” said poll analyst CR Gowri Shanker.
The saffron party also promised that Kisan Saman Nidhi would be raised to Rs 12,000 per annum and LPG cylinders to deserving Ujjawala beneficiaries would be provided at Rs 450.
Beyond the cacophony of political rhetoric, this outreach ini- tiative signals a nuanced strategy to court the Muslim vote, a demographic historically distant from the party.
"BJP is continuously running a very Defamatory, Derogatory, Vilification Campaign against CM Kejriwal through social media handles," said AAP leader Raghav Chadha.
Reacting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Murkho ke sardar' remark against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the party MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary said on Tuesday that the Prime Minister was already aware of the results of the assembly elections which is why he has used such "foul language".
