Polling for Lok Sabha elections will be conducted in seven phases, from April 19 to June 1. The counting of votes will be taken up on June 4.
The Lok Sabha polls are expected to be held sometime between April and May this year.
Before the CEC huddle, PM Modi held a seperate meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP chief JP Nadda at his residence.
