Dakshineswar Ramakrishna Sangha Adyapeath (DRSA) witnessed a significant event on Saturday where the Speaker of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, Biman Banerjee, emphasised the need to spread the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna, Maa Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda across India for global welfare sans caste and politics of religion.
Assembly Speaker Biman Banerjee today said that the winter session of the state Assembly would begin on 25 November and would continue for 10-11 days. This was decided following consultation with the chief minister, said the Speaker.

Banerjee said Thursday evening, "I am tired of replying to him. I don't know what files he is speaking of -- what files he has not withheld. If any file goes to the Raj Bhawan from the Assembly then it should come back to the Assembly after the Governor signs it,"
