Bikaner- Guwahati Express derailed in N. Bengal; 40 rescued, dozens feared dead

The incident took place a little after 5 pm when the train was passing through Moynaguri in North Bengal. Railway authorities have said at least 12 bogies after the engine has suffered extensive damage. With sunlight fading, the rescue operation at present is being carried out with the help of floodlights and back- up generators.
