Notwithstanding its victory, which was a narrow one, the BJP is aware that it now facing a doughty challenger in Tejashwi, who may well become the oppositions new mascot. 'We were kept out of the campaign and the reports we are getting from our Bihar leaders is that a whole bunch of incompetent personnel were sent from New Delhi to manage affairs,' a section of the dissenters maintained.
