As the National Anthem controversy continues to escalate in Bihar, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) launched a fresh offensive against Chief Minister Nitish Kumar with a provocative poster on Saturday morning.
The opposition parties demanded his resignation alleging that he insulted the national anthem and repeated the demand of his mental health examination.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar handed over appointment letters to 6837 candidates on Tuesday, including 6341 newly appointed junior engineers and 496 instructors in various departments of the state government.
Speaking to the reporters here, Sushil Kumar Modi, who once had stated that all the doors are closed even if Nitish Kumar wanted to return to NDA, said on Friday, 'no door is permanently closed in politics'.
Speaking on the issue, Bihar CM said, "How can powers given to an elected government be taken away? It's against the Constitution."

The court, however, asked the state government to preserve the data collected during the survey with a warning not to release it for the public at any cost.

The two comprised a reporter from Buxar who cited alleged fraud in the inauguration of an ambulance by Union Minister Ashwani Kumar Choubey and a reporter from Gaya, who sought to focus on alleged wrongdoings in a local hospital.
