Speaking to reporters after casting his vote in the election for the post of national president of Congress, Hooda said, “Congress is the only party in the country which elects its president through voting. Other parties also need to learn from this.”
Speaking on the issue of Article 370 which was scrapped on August 5, 2019, by the Centre, Tewari said that the matter is subjudice in front of the Supreme Court and the matter will be taken up on October 31 for a hearing.
He expressed grave dissatisfaction over the government's decision to hand over basic needs like education completely to private hands.
