A vacation bench of Justice Sanjay Kumar and Justice Augustine George Masih asked the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to seek instruction on Raut’s plea for interim bail.
The Bombay High Court had in January directed Professor Sen to approach the special NIA court for bail before coming to it.
Court said that it granted bail to Gonsalves and Ferreira while considering that almost five years had lapsed since they were taken into custody.

The case is related to the alleged inflammatory speeches delivered at a conclave a night before the violence broke out near the Bhima-Koregaon war memorial over two years ago.
