According to a senior official, who attended the preparatory meeting, the focus will be on industry and international trade.
Mr Chatterjee said,the cabinet has approved offering five acres of land each to four companies for setting up of a cycle hub at Vidyasagar Industrial Park.
"We have signed a total of 137 MoUs or letters of intent. These are related to various sectors like infrastructure development, logistics and capacity building," she said.
Mamata Banerjee had previously said that the summit would be held once in two years so as to help in making investments fructify.
