The mega event which was originally scheduled to be held between March 29 and May 24 has been postponed "indefinitely".
The BCCI treasurer also made it clear that Team India will be following all the travel guidelines and security measures once the team is allowed to travel overseas.
"Everyone wants IPL to happen but let's have some clarity first," he said.
