Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty starrer Motichoor Chaknachoor that released alongside Marjaavaan also failed to do much business at the box office.
Ayushmann thanked his fans for the immense response and love that his film has been receiving.
Bala has been directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Maddock Films.
Earlier, Dr Zeus called out the makers of Bala for using his songs "Don't Be Shy" and "Kangna Tera Ni" without his permission.
Bala is slated to release on 8 November 2019.
With the recent release date shifts, Sunny Singh starrer Ujda Chaman is slated to release on 1 November 2019 while Ayushmann Khurrana's Bala will hit screens on 8 November 2019.
On the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana is awaiting the release of his upcoming comedy film Bala on 8 November.
