IT giant Infosys has started functioning from its offices in New Town from Wednesday. This was announced by the state IT minister, Babul Supriyo. He has congratulated Infosys on the occasion and mentioned that it will fulfil the dream of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

With the new system, visitors would be able to get information about the archeological piece or place by scanning the QR code on their mobile phones, informed the minister. Notably, in what comes as an achievement for the state in the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) tourism sector, the G20 secretariat has praised the first round of the three-day meetings held in the city.
