Delhi Government has approved the appointment of 232 Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) qualified doctors in its hospitals, an important development concerning the city's healthcare sector.
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Thursday said that Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has proven that quality education can uplift the life of the poor children, ensuring they no longer remain trapped in poverty.
Atishi's allegations followed after her visit to the parents of a 28-year-old who was allegedly murdered in Sunder Nagari area of North East Delhi last week.
In a step forward towards the adoption of renewable energy, Chief Minister Atishi, on Wednesday, launched the ‘Solar Portal’ to make rooftop solar installations accessible and convenient for the residents with an aim to achieve 25 per cent of the city's total energy consumption through solar power by 2027.
Reacting to the AAP’s choice of Atishi to replace Arvind Kejriwal as the CM of Delhi on Tuesday, Yadav said, “Atishi should solve the problems of the people as it has become a habit with the AAP to politicise everything without doing any work.”
He said by choosing Atishi as their legislative party leader, the AAP has pushed the national capital into chaos.
Taking to social media platform X, she posted, “Today is a very sad day for Delhi. A woman is being made the Chief Minister of Delhi whose family fought a long battle to save terrorist Afzal Guru from the death penalty”.
Sachdeva claimed that Atishi's elevation was not Kejriwal's choice but a result of Sisodia’s influence within the party.
The decision was taken during a Legislative Party meeting of the Aam Aadmi Party.
