Delhi Government has approved the appointment of 232 Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) qualified doctors in its hospitals, an important development concerning the city's healthcare sector.
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Thursday said that Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has proven that quality education can uplift the life of the poor children, ensuring they no longer remain trapped in poverty.
Atishi's allegations followed after her visit to the parents of a 28-year-old who was allegedly murdered in Sunder Nagari area of North East Delhi last week.
In a step forward towards the adoption of renewable energy, Chief Minister Atishi, on Wednesday, launched the ‘Solar Portal’ to make rooftop solar installations accessible and convenient for the residents with an aim to achieve 25 per cent of the city's total energy consumption through solar power by 2027.
Atishi will take oath as Delhi Chief Minister on September 21 as will the other Cabinet ministers along with her, stated AAP in a press statement.They are Saurabh Bharadwaj, Gopal Rai, Imran Hussain, Kailash Gehlot, and Mukesh Ahlawat, the party said.
There are indications that she may take oath, along with new cabinet ministers, on coming Saturday, sources added.
CM-designate Atishi met the injured people and their families at the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital here late in the evening.
The Congress leader further said that the party has already said that Atishi will remain on the post till the elections, which are some months away and if AAP again comes to power, Arvind Kejriwal will become CM again.
The leader of the Opposition said, “By appointing Atishi, who is a supporter of leftist ideology, as CM, Kejriwal has revealed his own left-leaning face to the public.
