Official data reveals that during the Asian Para Games, 19 competition venues will accommodate 22 sports, with 17 of these venues being shared with the Asian Games.
The announcement follows the decision taken by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and the HAGOC, the games organising committee, to postpone the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games due to the size of the Games and the continuing impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
While Sandeep bettered his own world record of 65.80m in F44 category, Sumit sent the spear to a distance of 62.88m to qualify for Tokyo Paralympics 2020.
With 15 gold, 24 silver and 33 bronze medals, India was placed ninth in the overall tally.
