The Northern Army Commander said: "Though we lost five of our brave soldiers in the encounter, we eliminated two dreaded terrorists."
The first batch of Agniveers, which has been recruited from the Jammu, Udhampur, Doda, Reasi, Ramban, Kathua, Rajouri, Samba, Poonch and Kishtwar districts, reported recently for training at Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry Regimental Centre.
The Army Commander appreciated Ex-Servicemen for their continued support and selfless service rendered to the Nation.
The Army General was briefing media persons about the killing of two heavily armed Pakistani terrorists this morning by the troops along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Naugam sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
