Delhi HC asks ASI for record on 1914 notification declaring mosque inside Qutub complex

The amenities in those monuments will be revamped by the private sector under Monument Mitra Scheme. Addressing a press conference, Union Culture Secretary said, "This Monument Mitra Scheme had been started some years back under the Ministry of Tourism. Now the Ministry of Tourism has transferred the scheme to the Ministry of Culture in respect of the monuments under the Archaeological Survey of India, the ASI."
During the course of the hearing, ASI lawyer Subash C. Gupta argued that the man claims rights for large and vast areas in several states.
After hearing the submissions of the respondents seeking more time for instructions in the matter, Justice Manoj Kumar posted the case for further hearing for July 25.
More than 500 people including officials of the Culture Ministry and foreign delegates from more than 40 countries participated in the event.
