The Delhi Police on Monday claimed to have apprehended two minors for their alleged involvement in cow slaughter near signature bridge in the New Usmanpur area of north east Delhi.
The BSF's Mahila Praharis (women personnel) at the Border Out Post (BOP) Ashabari in the Sepahijala district intercepted a group of armed smugglers attempting to smuggle contraband across the international border on Sunday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South West) Surendra Choudhary said, “The mother was residing for more than 20 years and the son came in 2020 due to the family`s financial hardship. Both of them have been deported to Bangladesh through the Foreigners Registration Office (FRRO)”.
During the scrutiny, officials recovered three oval-shaped capsules containing a yellow chemical paste suspected to be gold. The capsules, weighing 1,063 grams (including concealing material), were found concealed in the rectal cavity.
