“We have seen how senior TMC leaders and workers used to visit the ministers involved in scams admitted to the Woodburn Block regularly. But this time, surprisingly no senior ministers as well as leaders came calling,”
On Thursday, two CBI officials had met with SSKM Hospital authorities to take stock of his health. Anubrata had skipped CBI interrogations again for fifth time on Wednesday and was admitted to Woodburn Ward of SSKM Hospital showing symptoms of respiratory distress and gastro-intestine problems.
Doctors advised him admission after considering ailments like cardiac trouble with breathlessness, high blood pressure and diabetes, sleep apnea, gastrointestinal problem and a growth like fistula. A member of the board said that his condition is stable and no abnormal ailments were found in his heart as per the findings in Trop T test.
Anubrata had been under the CBI scanner for quite some time now but despite being summoned for the fifth time in a row, he was able to give the central agency a slip and evade being quizzed.
