On October 13, the Andhra Pradesh government had assured the top court that it will not arrest Naidu in the Fibernet case till October 18. This undertaking was reiterated on October 17 and October 20.
The CBI on July 19 filed a chargesheet against 18 persons in the case, including the former Finance Minister and Karti.
The court order came after observing Delhi Police's statement that the Singhvi couple had extended support to their son in harassing Anissia.
