The victim, whom the police identified as Raju Sah of Bihar, succumbed to injuries during treatment.
Announcing the names of the candidates in a press conference in Srinagar, the chairman of the parliamentary affairs committee of the Apni Party, Dillawar Mir said Mohammad Ashraf Mir would contest the Srinagar seat while Zafar Iqbal Manhas has been fielded from Anantnag.

Identification was being done of the two other terrorists killed in the encounter at the Kwarigam Ranipora area of Anantnag.
"The slain militants belonged to Al-Badr, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Ansar Ghazwatul Hind (AGUH) outfits. Seven of them belonged to AGUH including the group's chief, 3 to Al-Badr and 2 to LeT", Dilbagh Singh told reporters.
Jammu and Kashmir Police took to Twitter and said, 'Terrorists fired upon CRPF party at Bijbehara, Anantnag resulting in death of a minor boy and a CRPF personnel. Area cordoned off. Case registered.'
