Former Niti Aayog CEO and India's G20 Sherpa, Amitabh Kant, on Sunday said Indians must work hard to achieve the ambitious target of making India a USD 30 trillion economy by 2047.
India’s G20 Sherpa and former NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant on Friday said the artificial intelligence race will not be won by those who build high cost models, but by those who will democratize technology, use open source and cost competitive models.
He noted that India continues to be the fastest-growing large economy in the world and is the fifth-largest economy.
While addressing an event organised by the All India Management Association, Kant said that India needs to grow at 9-10 per cent year after year for the next three decades.
"Our youths want to become job creators instead of job holders. The success of Indian startups shows our youths' passion," G Kishan Reddy said.
Speaking at the inaugural session of G20 first inception meet in Hyderabad, the G20 Sherpa said, "Since last four years, we do more fast payments compared to US, Europe and China."
The primary objective is to harmonise the global startup ecosystem through a collaborative and forward-looking approach.
Emphasizing on Sustainable Development Goals, India's G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant on Thursday said that the long-term low-emission development strategy by India for achieving the climate goals and the need for sustainable production highlights that we look at alternative paradigms of production and consumption to achieve sustainable material and wellbeing of society.
For the Career-Plus programme, students will be selected through a pre-designed test and provided teaching and content material, along with mentoring support and guidance.
