Her performance in the mixed relay along with her teammates ensured that Felix took her gold tally to a dozen, one more than what Usain Bolt had finished with at the 2017 edition of the World Championships.
Of her 14 world medals, nine have been gold, while 12 in total were won as part of the US relay team.
Bolt drew the curtain down on his Olympic career in August by sweeping the 100m and 200m sprint titles.
