Dr Guleria was to superannuate from AIIMS in April 2024 but he took voluntary retirement on November 13.

The OPD registrations will be done from 8 am to 1 pm on all working days. Earlier, the patients had to register for OPD appointments between 8 am and 11.30 am.
The students said that had the authorities provided them hostel within the hospital premises, the student's life could have been saved.
Among the junior residents, there is a vacancy of 62.5 percent. Of the 40 sanctioned posts of junior residents only 15 are filled and 25 are vacant.
The institute is now playing a pivotal role in providing quality health care as well as ushering new inventions in the field of Medical Research.
