The 37-year-old tech entrepreneur, who is white, is the husband of tennis legend Serena Williams, made the announcement in a series of tweets on Friday.
Williams and Ohanian had their first daughter in September 2017. She had won the Australian Open earlier in the year when she was roughly eight to nine weeks pregnant.
The winner of 23 Grand Slam singles titles has been engaged to Ohanian, 34, since last December.
While Williams won't play again this year, "she looks forward to returning in 2018," her PR said.
