Ahead of the counting day, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav on Friday said due to the alertness of the INDIA bloc, voters, supporters, workers, officials, leaders, candidates, entire PDA community and some honest media persons, the BJP was on a backfoot in these bypolls.
Yadav warned that a new and troubling form of democracy was emerging in Uttar Pradesh under the BJP rule.
A day after polling concluded for nine assembly by-elections, Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav wrote a letter on Thursday thanking the people of Uttar Pradesh for maintaining their morale despite alleged administrative pressure during voting.
“Earlier, engines were colliding; now, even the coaches of the so-called ‘double-engine government’ are clashing. After the Maharashtra elections, their own people will undermine the foundations of those who raised hollow slogans,” he remarked.
He said that those who gave the slogan 'One Nation, One Election' are now unable to even conduct a single examination, despite promising to hold record examinations.
Maurya said, "The BJP will repeat 2017 in 2027; the lotus has bloomed, will bloom, and will keep blooming."
Immediately, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav tweeted the video and said that the health system in the state has come on the streets.
Reddy was joined by Sanjay Raut of the Shiv Sena (UBT) and Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav at Jantar Matar in the national capital.
“If we look at Uttar Pradesh, what is the investment situation? Their ongoing projects were never completed on time," he added.
The Central government came to power because of the arbitrary decisions of the Election Commission, highhandedness of the Central investigative agencies; it is not a stable one and may collapse any day, said Trinamul Congress chairperson Mamata Banerjee on Sunday.
