After a political uproar over its demand for a fair share of seats from the Mahagathbandhan allies in the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, the Congress party, returned to ‘coalition dharma’ on Friday dispelling the confusion among the alliance partners.
Amid the ongoing season of promises in the wake of the upcoming assembly polls in the National capital, Congress, on Friday, promised to build Chhath Puja, like the ones built in the ‘Maha Kumbh’, on the Yamuna banks, which will be declared a separate district.
Speaking on the issue of Article 370 which was scrapped on August 5, 2019, by the Centre, Tewari said that the matter is subjudice in front of the Supreme Court and the matter will be taken up on October 31 for a hearing.
Experts say the idea will work wonders for the three-party Grand Alliance in Bihar if Congress is able to get a little support of these two upper castes.
