“Education in the mother tongue is initiating a new form of justice for the students in India. It is also a very significant step towards social justice,” said Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On the occasion, Modi will release the first instalment of funds under the PM SHRI Scheme. Schools set up under the scheme will showcase implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 and emerge as exemplar schools
Speaking at the inauguration of a three-day Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam, Modi said, “The basic premise of the National Education Policy is to take education out of narrow thinking and connect it with the modern ideas of the 21st century.”
