Reacting to his remark, Congress spokesman Neelabh Mishra said, 'Akash's threatening statement has clearly pointed towards the incident of thrashing a municipal corporation official with a cricket bat.'
Modi also slammed party leaders for giving a rousing welcome to Akash Vijayvargiya after he was released from jail saying such leaders must be sacked from the party.
Meanwhile, the Municipal Corporation officer who was thrashed by Akash has been hospitalised after he complained of respiratory problem.
