As Aftab's five-day police custody ends on Tuesday, the Delhi Police is racing against time to get the tests conducted at Dr B.R. Ambedkar hospital in Rohini.
During the probe, police came to know about two of Aftab’s acquaintances – Badri and Rohan.
The samples collected from the Mehrauli area have been sent for a DNA test. The police will match both the DNA reports.
In the East Delhi case, the police were not able to ascertain whose body parts they were because of the tampered state of the recovered body parts.
In the court, the Delhi Police may face the heat for being unable to recover the crime weapon, Shraddha's mobile phone, and the clothes worn by the accused.
The development comes after the Delhi Police had approached the court earlier in the morning seeking permission for the test saying that he was not cooperating in the investigation.
According to the FIR, the family of the victim disagreed with the relationship, following which she said that she was 25 and had the right to take her own decisions.
Delhi Police sources said that they have found some bones in the forest area which are being sent for examination.
