Afghan police arrest 12 drug smugglers

Afghan counter-narcotics police have arrested 12 people on the charge of drug smuggling in seven out of Afghanistan's 34 provinces, the Ministry of Interior said in a statement on Monday.

It is reported in the press that in Pakistan, 12 security personnel were killed last month when a suicide bomber rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a check post in Pakistan’s north-western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
