CAS BS Dhanoa takes over Baton of Chairman of COSC
Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa will be the Chairman COSC with effect from May 31, 2019, consequent to the relinquishment of charge by Admiral Sunil Lanba upon superannuation.

"The visit aims to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two navies by emphasising the importance of information sharing and exchange."
During the visit, Admiral Lanba will hold bilateral discussions with General Ponpipaat Benyasri, Chief of Defence Forces, Royal Thai Armed Forces, Admiral Luechai Ruddit, Commander-in-Chief Royal Thai Navy and other senior government officials.
The situation in Afghanistan, in the context of developments in the region, came in for discussion when visiting Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev met National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval in New Delhi last week.
