The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly was adjourned twice amid pandemonium on Monday after members of the ruling National Conference (NC) and its allies protested against the enactment of the Wakf (Amendment) Act and tore its copies.
The 16th Punjab Vidhan Sabha, summoned on 21st March 2025 for its 8th Budget Session, was adjourned sine die on Friday, i.e. 28th March 2025, an official spokesperson said.
The Budget Session of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly was adjourned sine die on Monday evening.

Following a senior BJP MLA’s derogatory comments against Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, the Madhya Pradesh State Assembly witnessed acrimonious arguments between the opposition Congress and ruling BJP MLAs on Friday.
Giving a short summary of the work done during the session, Mr Birla said it was the 14th session of the 17th Lok Sabha, which commenced on 4 December.
In his concluding remarks, Birla said that 20 Bills were introduced and 22 Bills passed during the session.

As oppositon members continued raising their demand, the Chairman adjourned the House till 2.30 pm.
The last week of its Budget Session was marked by interruptions by the Opposition shouting slogans for a JPC inquiry into the Adani Group affairs.
