What did you learn in school today?

Bhaber Pathshala (or Bhabshala) was started in 2022 in a place called Mohishdhal Moujar, just 10 km away from Shantiniketan station with probably the same peripheral vision of spreading the essential mediums of art and activities. Four people and their need to create communities started this space. Arnab Sengupta, Meenu Baske, Pritam Chakraborty, and Anjan Das started the initiative to teach the local Santali kids.

Paving the way for education- Empowering tribal children of Gutti Koya

The Gutti Koya tribals in the state live in remote habitations, located deep inside the forests, where they have no access to modern amenities such as electricity and no schools as well. In most cases, the children have to travel long distances through the forest and even cross flooded streams during monsoons to reach state-run schools, making it impossible for them to attend regularly.
